The event will wrap up around 12 pm on Sunday, 5th December, with the final gate closure at 4pm. Where is TreatFest?

TreatFest 2021 takes place at Buckland Estate, which is a Grand Heritage Property situated on 55 acres. It is less than 100 kms East of Perth, located on Irishtown Road between Northam and Toodyay:

986 Irishtown Rd, Buckland WA 6401

Just pop Buckland Estate into google maps and you'll get the exact coordinates. ツ

When I arrive, where do I go?

Make sure you arrive via the main entrance (see the map we'll send you for details). Our event staff will show you the path to follow to drive up to your campsite.

Campers will head to the camping area (outlined on the map in purple), where you can unload your cars and set up. Parking for Campers will be next to the Camping Area, with overflow parking a bit further away (2-3 min walking distance). First in, best dressed! ツ ♡

Glampers can head straight to the Glamping area (outlined on the map in yellow). There’s parking in close vicinity to the tents, so it's comfortable to unload and get set up.

What is the minimum age required to attend?

This year, TreatFest is for humans over 18 years of age only. Anyone under this age will be denied entry. You must be 18 on the day you check in to the festival. We kindly ask to not bring any children to TreatFest. However, if you feel like you need an exception due to your circumstances (e.g., you have a caravan equipped like a daycare centre and you bring a hand full of nannies to support the supervision of your child), please contact us at [email protected] so we can discuss to find a solution that works for everyone. Please note: without prior discussion with us, children are not allowed to enter the event.

What's your fire policy?

Unfortunately we’ll be in the peak of summer, and that means fire bans across the region and no open fires. The dance floor and BBQ stations will be hot enough though, so that will have to do!

What is the accessibility like?

Our team are working towards full accessibility of the site to ensure ALL of our customers can get to experience the best of TreatFest. TreatFest has the following accessible features: Accessible toilets and shower facilities and gravelled pathways between all main areas of the festival. Any feedback regarding accessibility and how we can improve it will also help make TreatFest a better event and we thank you in advance for reaching out.

What's the deal with vehicles and parking?

It's important to us that everyone stays well and safe, so movement of vehicles on the event area is not permitted. Vehicle movements is only permitted on arrival to your campsite and on departure. During these time vehicles shall remain on the designated roads and drivers shall follow all safety instructions from events staff.

@ BYO Campers: Parking is permitted when you’re camping in the designated camping lanes, or in the overflow car park area. We have allocated areas for cars to be in the camping area, but if there’s not enough room, you’ll need to park in the overflow car park. Best to get there early to secure the your preferred spot to set up your camp and park your car.

@ Glampers: you’ll have your own parking area adjacent to the Glamping area, check out the festival map we'll send you for more details.

Can I get a pass out to leave the event during TreatFest?

For safety reasons, passouts with your car will only be permitted for emergencies. Please talk to the TreatFest team if you need to duck out for an emergency or if you would like to leave the event before Sunday after lunch.

Make sure you let your friends and family know where you will be over the weekend and that they might not be able to reach you via phone. For emergencies, you can use one of the event organiser's emergency phones.

What items should I leave at home?

We expect that everyone uses common sense when deciding what to bring to the festival. Australian laws apply at TreatFest. Let us know if you have any questions.

Ticket Info

What do I do if I want to sell my ticket to someone else?

Thats cool, but you’ll just need to let us know who you would like to sell it to, so we can keep track of who is coming and have the right names associated with the ticket number. Please get in touch with us before you sell your ticket to someone else (email: [email protected]).

If I can’t go anymore, can I get a refund on my ticket?

There’s a 3 day cooling off period in which you can return your ticket for a full refund. After that, unfortunately no refunds will be given. The only exclusion to this is 2 weeks before the festival, where unfortunately no tickets will be refunded. However, you can sell your ticket to someone else (see details in the question above this one).

What happens if there is a COVID lock-down?

If there is a COVID lock-down during the time of the event, we will have to reschedule TreatFest to another weekend. You will be able to keep your ticket to attend the rescheduled event. The rescheduled event will most likely take place in the last week of February 2022, so keep that weekend free if you are concerned about a COVID lock-down in December.

If you are unable to attend the new event date, you may be entitled to a full refund through written application to the TreatFest Team ([email protected]). This is to occur no more than one month following confirmation of the rescheduled event date.

Please review our Terms and Conditions for more details.

What can I do if the event is sold out, but I really want a ticket?

We get it, FOMO is a thing, especially if your friends are going and you didn't get the chance to secure a ticket. If the event is sold out and you really want to go, get in touch with the TreatFest team ([email protected]). There might be another person who cannot go anymore and we might be able to connect you with them. Please be aware of scammers selling tickets on facebook - get in touch with us first to see if a person who is trying to sell you a ticket is actually registered as a ticket holder (it's best practice if you both contact us as seller and buyer). Tixel is a great place to buy tickets in a safe way, too. ツ

Food & Drinks

Can I bring alcohol?

Yes, this is a BYO alcohol event, there will not be any alcohol for sale. You are permitted to bring any alcoholic beverages you like, no worries at all. We kindly ask that you don’t bring any glass to the event for safety reasons.

Oh and one really big thing… we really care about everyone coming, so we ask that all attendees drive safe and do not drive under the influence of drugs, such as alcohol. Plan your journey, assure your are well rested before driving or arrange a designated driver. Your health and wellbeing is very important to us and lots of other people on this planet.

What's the deal with food?

TreatFest is a BYO drinks and food event. However, we have managed to secure a delicious food truck that will provide the following meals (can be purchased for normal food truck prices during the below timeframes - so all you need to do is plan your additional snacks around those times):

⁃ Friday dinner (approx. 6:30 - 9 pm): Gnocchi

- Saturday breakfast (8am - 10:00 am): Random breakfast options

⁃ Saturday lunch (approx. 11:30 - 2pm): Woodfired Pizza

⁃ Saturday dinner (approx. 6:30 - 9 pm): Woodfired Pizza (there is never enough pizza on a day - different choices are available)

You can also enjoy random snacks & goodies at the TreatBar, which will open at random times as well. You can purchase tasty little meals while the supply lasts, such as authentic German pretzels, sliders and cake. Yum!

- Sunday breakfast (8am - 9:30 am): Community Pancake Party - We'll provide the pancakes, you can bring fancy toppings if you like!

Oh and there's a BBQ area and a little community kitchen, where you can cook up a storm if you like. We hope this is enough info to ensure you bring enough food for you and your crew for the duration of the festival. Basically you won't starve if you don't bring any food, but you're safer if you bring a few snacks, just in case the supply runs out. We should have most of the meals covered though ツ ♡

Will there be places to store food/drinks?

We advise everyone to bring eskies to store their food and drinks. There will be a large communal fridge (i.e. cool room) available onsite that can store extras. However, we can't take any responsibility if things accidentally go missing - the communal fridge is not going to be monitored, as it's all based on trust and being nice to each other ツ ♡

We’ll have ice bags for sale if you run out!

Will there be communal meals/ eating times?

There is a certain magic about eating meals together and sharing the appreciation for food, so the intention is to share meals together at certain times (see the itinerary we'll share on the weekend). However, if you're hungry outside of those times you can of course eat whenever you like. ツ

Accommodation

Where will the BYO camping be set up?

The BYO Camping area is just a short walk (less than 1 min) to the shared bathroom facilities and main event area. There will be camping spots available on grass in the gardens and some spots may be on harder ground next the the gardens (e.g., on soil/ gravel - in particular for caravans). Be prepared to bring items to secure your tent on various types of grounds.

Camping areas will be clearly marked when you arrive and event staff will direct you where you need to go. You can also check out the map we'll send you for a general layout of each accomodation area.

What's the Glamping setup all about? What’s inside the tents?

Let's just put it this way....the Glamping setup is pretty epic…

The glamping area holds 20 beautifully set up glamping tents in total, 15 tents include a queen-sized bed, and 5 tents are equipped with two twin single beds for a total of accomodating 40 lovely humans.

Glamping tents are designed for maximum comfort and convenience and come with a range of luxuries and amenities to ensure a wonderful glamping experience amidst the natural beauty of the property. The key features include:

1. Large space with good headroom.

2. Large windows and door fronts all with good ventilation and insect mesh.

3. Separate shade roof to help control temperature and air flow.

4. Quality pillow top mattresses which are extremely comfortable.

5. Quality high thread linen, doonas, pillows and towels.

6. Electricity – power points, phone charges, lights and even electric blankets.

7. Furnishings like a proper wooden bed (with comfy quality mattress), bedside tables, rugs, and two deck chairs to chill in front of your cosy home for the weekend.

Can more than 2 people sleep in a Glamping tent?

Good question. Do you mean if you bring an additional single mattress to make an additional bed?

In this case, you sure can, but any extra person will need to have purchased a valid BYO camping (non-Glamping) ticket to get access to the event area. Keep in mind though, the Glamping tents have a maximum capacity for 4 people.

Can I camp in the same area as my friends?

The best way to ensure you camp with your friends is to arrive together. Camping spots are allocated by staff upon your arrival, to ensure there's enough space for everyone. We recommend to meet up with your group before heading into the festival so that you can get neighbouring spots. We will do our best to ensure you are all happy campers! ツ
